La la la la Elmos World

MMMM...Cotton Candy

We went to Sesame Street Live today. Jack did very well. He was mesmerised by all the colorful monsters, lights, and loud music! Jack loves Elmo, like every other child under 2. There is just something about Elmo's voice or his bright color that makes Elmo all the little ones' favorite monster!

We love Elmo's world! Mr Noodle was even there! We were a wee bit disappointed that Mr Noodle's brother Mr Noodle wasn't there.

Here are some more photos from the kids first show/concert! It sure was FUN!!! ;-D

Just a lil family guy

I got Jack a shirt last week that says "I do my own stunts." Ever since he has gotten several bruises! He is getting more daring!

Maybe it's a "Round Head" thing, but Jack reminds me of Stewie from Family guy. Jack also is a pretty serious kid, and isn't very smiley, he isn't a crabby baby either. He just is quiet and busy and if he could talk I am sure it would be about world domination. Skippy and Jack have quite a bond as well.

Uniquely Jack

Jack is such a funny kid. His personality is truly unique to him. For a little guy his facial expression can be so grown up. He now is getting around quite well he will go from one end of the room to other in seconds. He stops from time to time to pull him self up on furniture, at which time he will start to "preach." Sometimes this babbling dialog is quite serious, sometimes it funny and a giggle will be mixed in to his speech, and sometimes he really wants to be heard and he will get quite loud and the arms will start moving. My Mom calls him the Southern Diplomat. It sure fits when he really gets going.

Just Jack in the New Year

Well Jack brought in the New Year cutting those front teeth, FINALLY. I was starting to worry about my baby vampire. LAst night was a tough one, and with Charlie working overnights there isn't a tag team partner. Between the congestion from the typical I am getting teeth cold and the actual pain from teething he was up twice. I am not the type mother who lets her children cry it out. I truely believe in attatchment parenting and feels that raising children with strong trust and attatchment makes more secure, grounded children. So at midnight we had oregel and tylenol and back to bed but at 4:00 he wanted to play. So "attatchment parenting" was a difficult thing to stick to last night. I think as far as my kids go I have really been spoiled in the sleep department, Abby slept through the night since birth, and Jack was sleeping through the night at 6 weeks. And as for tonight an early bedtime is in store for us!
